Can You Guess My Favorite Holiday?

We already have had people stop to take pictures:D:D:D I've always loved it...the costumes, the candy, the trick or treaters. In best buddies neighborhood it's a community project. Neighbors visit each other into the night...great fun!!!

Last year I dressed up like an old crone ( yes I realize this is an easy shot for a troll ;) ) and I had a boiling cauldron on my porch. I dressed my chihuahua up like a bat & I swear she looked so bat like with those chihuahua ears. I had all sorts of stuff everywhere. I did try not to make it too scary, but one little toddler that came with his parents really freaked out when he saw my chihuahua barking in the window. He just started screaming at the top of his lungs. Poor baby. That made me feel bad.

Yeah I try to shoot for silly rather than scary. Like the skull in the bushes is wearing a princess tiara. The spider is fuzzy black satin. There are folks down the street with an electronic spider. Maybe eight feet high and on a web over their porch. It's a traffic stopper, it has glowing eyes and a baby doll in it's web. Sophie won't go anywhere near it.

Awesome, carving pumpkins and no. But my middle boy was reminding me of the pumpkin head characters we would put on the roof. Stuffed human sized clothing with pumpkin heads. A tradition for many years. I told him I'll put them together and you brave the roof. Okay the pumpkin people will be back.
