Can you help me with this question re Ghosts

Because many haunts are not of the material world so don't obey the laws of physics we must while living. Most perceptions of a spirit we receive are actually a projections of their consciousness, so that is in control of their appearance and observable movements.

There are exceptions as there are also 'residual haunts' that are more like manifested echos of highly emotional events (usually traumatic ones)from the life of the person. They are very different from spirits that linger to watch after loved ones or because of some 'unfinished business'.

Your question, however reminded me of a story naturalist and science historian Loren Eiseley told in a book i read last summer. He didn't name the scientist in question, because he had heard it 2nd hand and couldn't confirm it, since man had died already.

The way it went, the very well respected man in his later years, having read that due to atomic structure all physical/material things and beings are more empty space than actual matter would sometimes be hesitant to walk across a floor. He feared his atoms would pass thru those of the floor like flour being sifted. Not rational considering it had not happened in all his decades of life, but when he thought too much about the unseen composition of the material world the concern would worry him.

I have never seen manifestations but used to often get feelings and even have "conversations" with entities.
Never was I frightened, simply fascinated.
At one point I did become concerned.
Certain "events" had me doubting all I thought I knew about what happens when a person dies.
Would I meet my long-ago tormentors once I died?
