Can You Juggle?

Ever since I retired 19 years ago, I've wanted to learn to Juggle.

I bought a beginning ball set and a booklet, and I've watched Juggling instructions on YouTube, but I can't make a single 3-ball cascade, let alone cotinuous cascades.

I envy all those in TV clips who juggle...even some celebrities! I even saw a Juggler juggling 3 live Kittens once!

Yes. I always wanted to juggle and I walked into a library and they were giving juggling lessons.

It's not as easy as it looks. You have to keep trying till you get it.

I can do three balls and I loved it once I knew how it was done. I found that the cloth balls were easier to juggle than the rubber ones.
 

I can juggle.
At least I could. It's been a while.
Start with a thin, light scarf or handkerchief, tie all the corners into one knot.
Stand next to a bed or couch, with your hands over it - this saves you from picking it up off the floor.
Practice with the one - you need to develop the muscle memory of the motions. It helps some people to have a TV on, to keep them from thinking about the juggling to much.
Add another scarf. Practice more. Then the third scarf.
Then use bean bags - they don't bounce and roll away when dropped.

I juggled balls and fruit in stores. I never got brave enough to juggle eggs, but I sure thought of it. Stopping is the hardest part for me...

My last / current juggle balls are home made; tennis ball size, made from a chamois and filled with bird-shot.

Don't give up. We want to see you riding the unicycle and juggling at the same time.
 
Never was good at juggling. Had a friend who was a juggler. He was good. Saw no reason to compete. That was his thing; mine was women.
 
At one time was very good at juggling. Would go out with one boyfriend early, come home, shower, dress and back out for the evening with another boyfriend.
