As a kid, we’d visit some folks that had one
I was rapt
Decades later, my lady worked there
Beaverton, OR
What…a…pit
Testor’s glue hell
When they finally shut the place down, they had to bring in hazmat teams

2. Little dolls that hugged their knees....elves?

I think so, seems to me that they were attached to boxes of candy but I can't remember which brand.

The knee hugger reminded me of the CocaCola Santa, my grandmother had one that always sat on the couch. Every year we would have to search for the coke bottle and put it back into his hand.

shopping

I had a Buttons doll. She was dressed in red gingham with printed button eyes and black braids. She was the spokesdoll for a brand of bed linens . . . . forgot the brand.
