Can you think of any connection between the spread of Covid-19 and climate change? Everything in nature appears to be so much worse these days. I don't want to judge by feelings and emotions. Can any of you who are scientifically oriented make a case for or against this idea?

Rather than Climate Change, I suspect this virus is somewhat linked to Overpopulation and Poverty. It appears to have started with some people in China eating bats....probably too poor to afford decent food....and quickly spread due to hoards of humanity living in close quarters.

As time passes, I expect that Overpopulation will be a far greater risk, and a lot sooner, to Humanity, than climate change.

The exact origin of where it originated is not clear.

The virus had to jump from animals to humans. Thats the way it works. Thats why they have to kill millions of chickens when they are infected.

The suspect here is the market in Wuhan. There they bring in live animals and slaughter them there for freshness.

Re climate. We have to follow the scientists. No connection.

Anyway. How many degrees has the temperature changed? Where I live not even one degree in the last 25 years. It's easy to check the historical average where you live.
 
In my opinion, our immune systems are not working as well as they did 50-100 years ago & things that were always here are now making us sick.
 
I think population density and mobility helped contribute to the spread of this. I still wonder if there is another carrier such rain, smoke, misc chemical and odors etc. Can the virus be attached of other micro particles.
 
I was reading today that the Ebola virus started in humans after someone ate an infected monkey. I also read the same thing about HIV. Chinese eat all kinds of exotic animals, maybe someone in Wuhan ate a monkey? I heard it was a bat, but . .. . . .

As to the climate change, that plus the overpopulation and contamination of resources such as water etc. ???!!!! Our descendants will be in big trouble.
