Canadian Cherries to tart to eat, what do I do with them

I bought some beautiful cherries today. It has been many years since I have done that. Anyway, they are pretty tart, I don't know a lot about cherries. It does not say on the bag what kind they are except they are canadian. They do have pits. I know I can't eat them raw which was my intention. Will these be suitable to make a pie or crisp. I can look up a recipe if you would just give me some direction for them. Thanks

I am thinking we are not going to have a choice, either sugar but maybe honey or agave might help? Then make a pie or cobbler.

You can get Stevia in a blend with sugar for baking. Stevia is a safe, natural sweetener, but baking does require some sugar for chemistry.
