Im not a pot smoker either but it's legal in Colorado which has some high altitudes...so, I'm guessing it doesn't.

We camp in high altitudes sometimes, around 10,300 ish feet on our last trip, and with no high, the altitude does affect your breathing and everything you do. It takes a day or so for me to take my 3+ mile hikes without getting winded. So yes, if you drink or get high, the effects will increase, that's what gets some people in trouble.

Back in the day, drinking 4 margaritas and 6 watermelon shooters would do that to me.
