Can't Embed Gifs or Videos

Are we no longer able to embed gifs or videos here? I tried several gifs from giphy.com and tried doing it like I've always done it: I copy the Link icon on giphy and then click on the media icon in the SF post and get "The specified URL cannot be embedded as media." I've also tried clicking on the SF Link icon but get same error msg. What am I doing wrong?

..all working for me... but that said.. simple pasting of Pictures in the last few days have had people tell me they're not showing, and then a day later suddenly they're showing .. so I wonder if there's a fault with the forum... not sure..

I just copied this from Giphy.com...so it's working for me

The only thing I can use are YouTube videos, and not always then. I just get weird messages when I try to put pictures or memes in.
