Captcha and other verifications

When they ask for verifications of a credit card and are trying to eliminate robot calls, they use various methods like Captcha .

Those things drive me crazy. I can barely read the letters the want. Perhaps I don't have the visual ability anymore.

Today I was locked out of an account because they were asking to click on square where the top side of two dice had identical symbols.

Well to me none of the dice shown had the identical symbols. So I kept on trying. Then I finally figured out the symbols didn't have to be the same colour.

That to me is dumb. Identical means the same colour. So then I tried to phone the number and I get a comment that they don't accept calls from a blocked number. It's an 800 number. I never blocked that call.

It was one of those prepaid credit cards. I only had a little over a dollar outstanding. That's how they make their money.

They can keep it.

Anyone else?

The ones that say, "Click on the photos that have cars in them" is also crazy. The photos are usually blurry & some of the cars are tiny.

Yes! The last time I had to do it was to find the cross walks, then the parking meters. Very hard to see in 1/4 “ size squares on a phone. I don’t even remember what it was for.

I hate verification methods where you may be shown only part of the object you're trying to find in multiple low definition images, working on a tiny screen to begin with. Verification involving reading and transcribing distorted and truncated letters or numbers is torturous as well. They look like you're having a bad psychedelic experience back in the 1960's...

It’s when the letters numbers are on an unclear background that i have problems.I have confused ‘s’ and ‘5’ on occasions
