1966 Datsun Roadster A 'must have' if you live at the beach

Wow, I had a two-seater Datsun exactly like that including the color. It was one of my favorite cars.

I was the proud owner of a 1985 Yugo. Move over Edsel, Yugos are the world's worst cars. Hands down, they suck, I know I owned one. It spent more time getting repaired than it did on the road. At least 3-4 days in the shop every week. I can take you to spot after spot where it just died and had to be towed. There is one intersection the damn thing never made it through-it always died. So why do I regret selling it? I knew it was so bad, it was going to be a museum piece. Someday it was going to be worth bucks No car museum would be completeYugo.jpg without the world's worst car. But, I was poor and needed a trade. GRRRRR.

A close competitor in the world's worst sucky car division is the 1970 Opel Kadett, that I had the dis-pleasure of owning. I actually worked on it more than I drove it.

When it died on the freeway(northbound 405) I coasted to the nearest off-ramp and as luck would have it, came to rest in the parking lot of a Ford dealership. Drove home in a new 1974 Maverick.

I regret selling my first car I ever bought. It was a 1973 Cougar XR7 Convertible with a 351 Cleveland Engine.

This is a stock photo of the car. Mine looked identical to this one.

The 351 Clevelands were amazing. I had forgotten, but my 1980 LTD wagon had the 351L, but it had a weird variable venturi carburetor that needed rebuilt every 30K miles. Was red, with the fake woody trim:

I don‘t regret selling any car, however I love our current car. Modern cars are loaded with valuable safety features that actually work. Our current Hyundai — blind spot lane change warning, backup approaching warning, pre-collision automatic braking, and lane departure warning. I also like a small size that facilitates parking. With due respect to the battle ships pictured in this thread, beautiful cars, but from a practical standpoint, no thanks.

I‘ll add one I regret not buying — a Mercedes Benz 300SL on a used car lot in France, priced at $3,000.

I regret not selling my first car, a Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. Trying to do something nice, I gotten my cousin who was in his 20's a job in our office as a field worker. He needed a car so I gave him my car since I was getting a new one. He screwed up the job, had an accident with the car and my uncle (his grandfather) told me he just left the car right where he crashed it.

I regret selling my orange 2-door VW Beetle. I think it was a '73, maybe a little older. I let it go for only $400, and there wasn't a thing wrong with it. The girl who bought it was a friend of my sister's and she was going through a hard time. My kids were like 7, 11, and 12 years old....anyway, getting big, and I'd just bought this cool little Toyota wagon, so....

I really liked that VW. It only ever needed occasional reasonable maintenance, and those bits were very inexpensive, and so were the tires. I owned much more popular classics, but I don't regret selling them.
