The “Swing You Sinners!” cartoon was definitely trippy, and despite being a 1930’s creation showed an astonishing level of creativity seldom matched today, even if nightmare fuel in places. Loved the jazz age influences in it as well!

Fun fact: vintage ‘toon flapper Betty Boop was originally drawn and conceived as being kind of an anthropomorphic french poodle, then kind of evolved with her floppy dog ears becoming earrings, and her black dog nose becoming white and human… 😸
