Catching big reptiles

As a former US gator hunter I know there is truth to this. A really big alligator is maybe 12 feet, recent record biggest is a bit controversial, biggest I have ever seen was 14 ft 2 inches... I saw that one dead at the processor's place, not my kill, and pretty sure I have never seen one that big alive. Historically bigger gators existed, first Europeans explorers reported 20+ feet, but I suspect those were very old, older than our hunting allows them to get today. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alligator

Your crocodiles on the other hand can get 20+ feet and are sometimes found larger. I think they are also more aggressive and dangerous. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crocodile
