CDC Director Doing A Complete Overhaul Of The Agency. Dissatisfied With COVID Response

Besides the pandemic missteps mentioned in this article, I saw a news report that said she was dissatisfied that the CDC released information that was confusing to the public. We've mentioned that fact here on the forum more than once.

IMO replacing Director Rochelle Walensky would be a good place to start.

I haven’t been impressed with her public comments and recommendations.

IMO the office needs a younger version of Dr. Anthony Fauci. A person focused on public health and not the political ramifications.

IMO the biggest problem faced by the CDC during the pandemic was the meddling of the executive branch of our government.

A friend of mine (87 yrs old) traveled out of state to visit family. While he was there, he became sick & thought it was food poisoning.
When he got worse, he went to an "Urgent Care" facility where they tested him for Covid. He was positive - after being vaccinated & boosted twice a few weeks prior. They told him he probably got Covid 5 days ago & he was "no longer contagious." But different sources have said to quarantine for longer than 5 days.
I brought food to him & his wife yesterday. He was in bed & couldn't visit with us.

And, a couple of days after his second booster, his wife found him lying on the ground in front of their driveway, unable to move.
When paramedics arrived, they diagnosed a heart attack & transported him. He was hospitalized 4 days.
