I am mystified by how these so called 'celebrities' announce their relationship splits but then add that could everyone please respect their privacy at this time!
I see Fearne Cotton just did that.

The thing is - who cares?

If you want privacy, keep mouth shut.

Who gives a monkeys about Fearne Cotton,she's barely known in the uk, much less the rest of the world.. but like so many of these minor celebrities they are legends in their own lunchtimes...

It is nonsense.
When I was much younger I used to read celebrity gossip, but the magazines. When I got older I realised it was just time wastage.
 
I suppose they want the public to hear it from them, rather than the gossip columns. But it still makes the gossip columns.

HA!

The BBC news site had a mention of a celebrity couple breaking up just today. I'm so out of the loop on such things, I honestly didn't know who either of them were. It's hard to care, isn't it?

As I've mentioned previously, I love listening to my music. There's a guy, older than I, just a few doors down. We were chatting recently and he said he loved music as well. I asked him which format, and he said "I stream" - which is not where I'm at (convenient, yes, audiophile? No.) And then he started saying things like, "have you heard ....?" And turns out he's kept up with modern releases far more than I. I didn't know any of the bands he liked. I didn't bother to tell him what *I* liked. :D
