Following on from the amazing William Shatner, today is the 85th birthday of Faye Dunaway.
Faye Dunaway said that her bipolar disorder was partially to blame for her notoriously bad behaviour on movie sets. Throughout my career, people know there were tough times,” the actress says stressing she doesn’t want to dismiss her behaviour.

On this day in 1957, Humphrey DeForest Bogart, nicknamed Bogie, popped his mortal coil. He was an American actor, his performances in classic Hollywood cinema made him an American cultural icon. In 1999, the American Film Institute selected Bogart as the greatest male star of classic American cinema.
Frederick George Peter Ingle Finch (Peter Finch,)was an English and Australian actor of theatre, film and radio. Born in London, he emigrated to Australia at the age of ten and was raised in Sydney, where he worked in vaudeville and radio before becoming a star of Australian films. He passed away on this day in 1977, from a heart attack whilst in Los Angeles, California, shortly after filming Network, for which he posthumously won an Academy.
On January 14, 1954, actress Marilyn Monroe and New York Yankees baseball star Joe DiMaggio were married at San Francisco City Hall. Their high-profile marriage was short-lived, ending in divorce less than a year later due to "mental cruelty" and DiMaggio's controlling nature.
