Thee are enough members on enough different schedules and time zones and parts of the world that a chat room could operate pretty much 24/7 and there would be activity.

I brought this up a while ago, and the administrator said it's been brought up before and made it clear in no uncertain terms that there will never be a chat room in the senior forums.

Each chat room I tried, it was more like a dating forum. Most people wanted to know where I lived, how old I was and would I post a picture and also my marital status. I never answered any of them.

The very reason I've stayed away from all chat rooms. Easy enough to chat on here through pm's.
