Chemical Plant Fire Caused By Laura

I bet gas prices will go up in coming days/weeks. The area this hurricane hit has some of the nations refineries and excess fuel storage depots. If any of them got damaged, that will impact the flow of fuel, and result in a price rise at the pump. We made a quick run to the store today, and the local gas prices were up 20 cents/gal, over what they were just a couple of days ago.
 
Scary! People were told to shelter in place and keep their windows closed. I hope these residents aren't also affected by power outages because doing so in this heat and no source of cool/cold air will be brutal.
