The transmissions are not the result of bad audio but the result of existing scanners inability to properly decode P25 simulcast transmissions without using IQ techniques. The only radios that can properly decode P25 simulcast transmissions are actual authorized agency affiliated transceivers, the Uniden SDS100 and the SDS200 scanners, SDR receivers and the Unication G4 & G5 pagers.
