Putin and Xi met recently in Moscow and formed a bilateral strategic partnership, which doesn’t make them an ally, but is considered to be the next best thing. Their belief is that this will weaken the West militarily. Here’s the news:

china and russia share a border and it is strange that today they have some kind of partnership when back during the conflict in south east asia they were antagonists across that border

As bad as this, China is also in collusion (my word) and kind of partnership with Ford Motor Company to build a new EV battery plant in Michigan. The Ford-Chinese deal received some good tax breaks and although the new plant is expected to create 2500 new union jobs, the employees will not all be Americans. The Chinese will be sending consultants over to help with the technology used in China, which is the world leader right now of EV batteries. The Chinese also will be permitted to fly the CCP flag inside (for now) the plant. That is not inside the article, but was stated on NPR, surprisingly.

Ford stated that we need their technology. Really? We are a country that put a man on the moon seven times as well. I would think we should be able to figure out how to build a battery for an EV vehicle by taking an already made battery and using that as a model, our scientists and engineers should be able to duplicate the process and perhaps, maybe even make it better. This is just another one of the plants that China has investments in. China already has controlling interest in more than 2400 other American companies. As a side note, China also owns more than 400,000 acres of farmland in the U.S.

The good news is that once the plant is up and running, we won’t have to import anymore EV batteries and that will take a lot of stress and possible danger off the back of the pilots having to fly these things over here from China. There shouldn’t be anymore planes blowing up because of the batteries leaking and starting fires inside the fuselage. I spoke to a couple of pilots that flew freighters and the one pilot was a young man that had only been out of flight school for three years and was hired by Delta a year before and took a job as First Officer. He was telling me that half of their cargo they had just brought from China was EV and cellphone batteries (Lithium-Ion). He looked very tired. I think his nerves were on edge. This was about 15 years ago when we were losing freighters for batteries blowing up.
