So, does this mean the virus is winding down? I know there will be other cases as testing catches up.

Only in their area. Whether they will experience a resurgence remains to be seen.

It seems that this virus may have a 3 or 4 month "peak period". It appears that China is winding down, while Europe in peaking, and the U.S. is just getting started. However, even if that is true, there is still no vaccine available, and the entire crisis could repeat.
