What's the best/worst present you have got from a Christmas Cracker?

A shoe horn !

I laughed when it fell out my cracker and would never have bought one, but it’s really handy for getting ankle boots on

I am advised elsewhere that American crackers do not have presents.Strange.

These are typical American crackers.

Christmas crackers are available but they are not widely used in my area.

Those crackers were tradition at our house Christmas and I had grown to love them. I think I got a cool whistle once but most of the toys were lame. Putting on the silly hats was what I loved most about them. For a few hours it made us all equal and we could laugh at ourselves and each other which we really needed.,
Thanks for the reminder. I think I will look for dive to take up to my parents for this Christmas and take pictures

Keesha, I know you are in Canada, but I see you have the paper crown on. I watch a lot of British TV and have seen people wearing those crowns in almost every Christmas scene. What's the symbolism of those? Is it the three kings? I've never seen this in the US and I've been very curious about the custom.

This is the first time I've heard of Christmas crackers.

That's you Keesha! How cute you were . Is that your mother?
Yes! That’s me at about 20 years old and my mother who took off her hat already.

I honestly don’t know Butterfly but we are from England so many of our traditions are British including trifle which had enough sherry in it to get us kids tipsy.
