Christmas Morning Mishap..did you have one?

This is my Christmas morning mishap. I left a bag of powered sugar on top of the toaster oven and then turned it on.....this was before my Christmas Morning Mimosa! LOL!

Oh No!!! My only mishap was having to make a trip to Urgent Care, for a diagnosis of a UTI. There were two pharmacies open in town, so got my dose of Christmas antibiotic. On the plus side, my husband texted me that a nearby Chinese restaurant was open. I stopped to buy us a Chinese Christmas lunch.
Going to have a couple of NY Strip steaks and baked taters for dinner.
 

Cooked up an eight item stir fry for nine people, starting at 9 AM. Should have started at 8 AM, including prep, as everyone was here by 11:30, but lunch wasn't ready until 12:30 PM. No biggie. We forgot to buy a bottle of Ranch Dressing for those who were afraid of my Mandarin Orange Ginger salad dressing. Had a fruit salad, too. Everyone had a great time, though. Dessert had five crushed cookie and candy toppings for four different ice creams. Leftovers are going to tempt me, I'm sure.

Sounds great, TG! I'd rather have your own orange ginger dressing myself. What nice desserts, too!
 
Dropped my little pyrex casserole of pierogies and it shattered so I had to toss them out.

I took it as a sign from on high to stay away from the high carb items today.
 
Shattered Pyrex is such a mess, Bea. Plus there's the tragic loss of the pierogies. Glad everyone sorted out their minor disasters. I can't bring to mind any spoilers on my Christmas Eve or Day - any drama was fleeting and quickly dispatched.
