Christmas music playing, already.....

I've gotten used to it. Year after year the playing of Christmas music in retail stores begins shortly after Labor Day (here in the U.S.). It is irritating but it's all about separating people from their money. Step away from these stores and it disappears, not to be heard in other locations until a more reasonable time.

It's sad because by the time Christmas actually arrives, the music is no longer quite as "special".

Can't remember the last time I was in a department store that piped in music.
Local grocer has music playing on overhead speakers but haven't heard Christmas music yet.
Asked the checkout lady at the grocer if they had music classes on the second floor ... because I kept hearing something D'OH :ROFLMAO:

I stepped into a Ross store today and "Blue Christmas" was playing. I heard two more Christmas songs while I was there.

Too soon.....Waaaay too soon.
That is way too soon Jujube! I couldn't believe it when I saw Christmas trees, lit up all pretty in Costco on Saturday. No Christmas music was playing but now that I think of it, I don't remember ever hearing music playing in Costco.

I haven't been to any stores that are already playing Christmas music, thank God. But yesterday I saw an ad on TV for Balsam Hill Christmas trees. 🙄🫣
