Cicada singing in my area

I am not sure when it began again here but I just heard some just now. Anyone else in the Mid-West been hearing them lately?

OMG! They are so loud at night, it is drowning out the sound of the creek, which is saying a lot. I am in western Colorado.

They must have began their migration as they are back this way now. Keep them with you OK?

I was expecting a major invasion this year, but I haven't heard a sound or seen one critter yet.
