Our Governor was fast to act. Most obeyed the restrictions. Some did not. The first image shows the difference between what could happen without these measures compared to what total obedience might look like. The second image shows where we are at as of yesterday. I think the message is clear - We all need to be obedient in this crisis. We can not let down our guard.

How about compliant? Obedient sounds so groveling. In case you think I'm nitpicking, if you read '1984' you might remember the amount of vocabulary people were allowed to use was sharply lessened, in order to lessen thought. It worked.

In times like this, it becomes Very Important that people put their individual preferences aside, and follow the advice of our medical professionals. We have not experienced this kind of health problem, before, with little or no means of curing it, so everyone needs to be Very careful and practice good hygiene, and follow the recommendations of those who have knowledge about this illness.

I truly appreciate the work that Governor DeWine and Health Director, Dr. Acton, have done to try and lessen the impact of the virus on Ohioans. Their daily updates help alleviate some of the wild rumors I see being bandied about regarding other states. We have daily updates down to the county level which is very useful. My county (Delaware) posts county updates daily as well and have included a map to show us which areas of the county are hardest hit. Currently, we have 79 infected, 2 deaths, 6 hospitalized, and 28 recovered. Of the confirmed cases, 47% are female, 53% are male; the median age is 40; and the age range is 1- 90+.

The governor's efforts has flattened our curve and does help minimize some of the panic.

Totally agree - Their openness and honesty go far in keeping us informed. They have done their absolute best to protect us, to be fair, and to be reasonable under the worst possible conditions. The lack of available testing is not their fault and they set very logical priorities. Politics aside, they are both my heroes.
