You have to be careful, too, about the lighting in which you view yourself in a color; obviously, natural sunlight is best. A couple previously-popular department stores in the US were notorious for having atrocious lighting (fluorescent bulbs are often a culprit). The clothes/colors would look one way on you in the store and you'd get them home and--pfft--totally different.

I wear all colors. I love color. My favorite is any shade of purple of which I own a lot and which was my favorite color in early childhood. I also wear white well and don't look washed out in it. Maybe this means I'm a winter?

Chic, white is very hard..like Black for anyone to wear as they age.. and in 2 out of 3 of your pics you don;t have white against your face, rather you have scarves with colour.. which is what I've been told do to stop either colour being draining..

The dark hair balances the white. Very possible a winter.
The scarves do complement.

I also have color in the mirror sunglasses in two of them. I don't wear black against my face ever anymore because I am too old for that I think. I do have a couple of dark scarves I wear with diamond earrings and the sparkle from the earrings brightens everything up. You look great in all your pics. I wouldn't change a thing.

I think I look fine in black, but I have learned to avoid black lace trim (on T-shirts and so on). For some reason that *does* make me look old.
