Confused about this subforum.

I play on a winter basketball adult league, which starts on the first Wednesday night in December and finishes on the last Wednesday night in February. This date includes the playoffs. It costs each team member $35, which includes the team entry fee and playoff trophies.

There's an old-timers baseball league that plays doubleheaders on Sundays from May through July, but after playing in it for 3 years, I gave it up. I got tired of getting hit by the poor pitching. They play 2-7 inning games and rainouts are made up on Saturday afternoons.

I do workouts 3 times a week with exercise bands and a 2 mile walk-jog. But sports - I can’t do anything with shoulder movement or jumping without pain afterward. Can’t even use a tennis ball thrower with the dog!

Is croquet a sport? I still do that and often win. Hope to have a game this weekend with the kids. Can also do beanbags.

Just be careful.

I am a road cyclist. Recently getting over some wear and tear injuries and therefore have not been riding for last few months. Hope to get back into it soon. Before the injuries I was riding nearly every morning, rain or shine. and averaging about 400 kilometres a week. Every tuesday we would ride 100 kms in about 3 hrs. The other rides are shorter but a bit faster. In our small group I am the youngest at 70 y.o. David is the fastest rider and he just had his 82 nd birthday.
