Welcome Connie...What part of the State are you in? We're in the deep woods just 3 miles South of Stover....retired to the boondocks after working in KC for 30 years.

Hi everyone! Thank you all for the welcome. I haven’t figured out how to answer individually yet, so for now this will have to do.
A little info.... I live in SW Missouri near Joplin. We moved here 30 years ago from West Va. I miss those West Virginia hills. ; )
Most of my older friends here have moved away or passed away; so it can be lonely.
We’re in the process of selling our home and moving into a mobile in the country near my daughter. Thus....another ‘life chapter’.

Joplin is a fairly nice area....close to all the fun things to do near Branson. If you move to a more rural area, you will probably find the peace and quiet refreshing....plus being near a son/daughter is a plus as we get older. Good luck.
