My niece met the team at the 2002 Olympics. The original one, they were not still participating, just there for the fun. They were very nice and gave her a bunch of their pins.

Always liked the movie and story.

John Candy was a epic Canadian comedian, always up for a good laugh. Gone way too soon. His first part time job, while attending Neil McNeil High School in Toronto was assembling bikes in the sporting goods department at the down town Eaton's store. A founding member of Second City Toronto, and the SCTV series. A sweet guy. JimB.
