Who knows what this could be. Archaeologist have been studying this site for years, but new ground penetrating radar is reviving the story of Noah's Ark. What shows up below, in some ways, closely matches the description of the Ark, however, much remains a mystery. The plans are to drill down for samples and eventually to excavate whatever is there.

As usual, interpreting findings is often clouded by bias judgment on either side. It is an interesting development, but who knows what will come of it. In any case, it has re-ignited the debate of the ancient story. Here is a link to the news article:
Noah’s Ark: Researchers claim they may have found it in Turkey

I really believed they had found it some years ago. A Dutch guy went there and Chinese people, but the Americans were unkind and didn't bow down, so he only told the Chinese. How could I fall for that? Those Americans were just smart and didn't fall for his nonsense.

If they're 100 percent sure about this I'll show some enthusiasm.

The Biblical flood happened somewhere around 4000-4500 years ago. People think the ark would just be sitting there for all to see. If it was there in the first place, it would have rotted away long ago being exposed to the elements. My back deck is rotting away and it isn't more than 30 years old. Also the flood changed the geography of that region.

The Bible says the ark came to rest in the mountains of Ararat (Genesis 8:4), not on THE Mount Ararat. The Biblical "mountains of Ararat" refer to a mountainous region, historically associated with the ancient kingdom of Urartu, located in modern-day eastern Turkey, near Armenia, where Noah's Ark famously came to rest after the Great Flood (Genesis 8:4). While often identified today with the massive, snow-capped Mount Ararat, the Bible originally meant the broader geographical area or kingdom, which was a significant kingdom in the 8th-7th centuries BCE.

And I believed it when they showed wood and hay for the animals. Hay. Seriously? I was a tiny bit gullible.
