but did watch the program on PBS
"A literary journey through Dorset"(UK)
with Mel Giedroyc and Martin Clones
Started with John Fowles "The French Lieutanent's Woman""with Mel in the famous cape..
worn by Meryl Streep in the movie..
then..onto
Showed Thomas Hardy's house,
who wrote "Far from the madding crowd"and read
traveled to...to show Durdle Door ( unique limestone structure)
etc.
It was all very interesting.😉

I used to watch This Old House. Over the years it changed, so did I.
Terek El Mussa and Heather, Joanna and Chip Gaines. They all changed
I changed, them wealthy me just watching other stuff. ... :coffee: ...

It was mostly a waste of time. ... :ROFLMAO: ...

I also watched Ice Road Trucker. Basically one show and seen em all.
Sort of the same with Judge Judy. Now Judge Faith is fun to watch. ... :love: ...

I didn't check out their mansions though! LOL Hope their not in Malibu !

Was this the TV show you watched, with scenes of Dorset, England? You can see Durdle Door at 0:12 in this short video. I believe its part of Southern England Jurassic Coast:



Thomas Hardy was born in a thatched cottage in the woods. Later he built a home with red brick. Max Gate, Dorchester, Dorset:

Not to Malta..my ex husband was stationed there for a while in Valetta when he was in the Navy ... the Queen famously spent 2 years living there when she was frst married to Philip and he was in the Royal navy, living the life of a near normal person... she always maintained those 2 years were the happiest of her life
