I'm not a big country music fan, but I remember an old song that touched me even as a young child. I can sing it, and remember some words, but I can't figure out exacty what song it was. I wouldn't mind hearing it again, maybe on a youtube video. I'm thinking it's from the late 50s or early 60s, and the artist might be Hank Williams Jr., or Hank Williams. Any ideas?
I look at your picture on the wall,
And I gaze into your eyes,
Your lips, they seem to call,
That you need my love tonight,
Come on home.
Chorus:
As long as there are trains and airplanes,
Horse and buggy, wagon trains,
That's how sure I am,
I'm comin' home to you.
I look at your picture on the wall,
And I gaze into your eyes,
Your lips, they seem to call,
That you need my love tonight,
Come on home.
Chorus:
As long as there are trains and airplanes,
Horse and buggy, wagon trains,
That's how sure I am,
I'm comin' home to you.
