Covid Causes Doctors to Rethink Unnecessary Tests

For right or wrong, I thought doctors historically overdid the tests for insurance liability purposes.

The spread of this virus, over the past year, has certainly caused many people to avoid doctors offices and hospitals...for fear of entering a potentially "toxic" environment. We avoided our annual exams/screenings last year, and are just now starting to think about resuming those tests. Our area is seeing fewer problems with this virus, but that could change at any time.
More likely for billing purposes.
Production line mail it in medicine. Throw in some coding schemes billing is quite profitable for many a practice. Do outcomes match financial performance probably not.
