Beyond the alleged botched and falsified test results, the city's complaint charges that Sameday Health also engaged in insurance fraud after partnering with a doctor and charging for "medically unnecessary" consultations.

That doctor, Jeff Toll, has also agreed to pay $3.9 million to settle the allegations.

Feuer advised anyone who's seeking COVID-19 tests, the to book an appointment through a trusted healthcare provider or the Health Services of L.A. County. He said he believes the city has "captured the universe of people who were adversely affected," but he encourages others who think they've been ripped off to contact his office.

everyone rushed to profit off of this and i hope those who did stuff like this all get caught and fined etc

Never happen. As an example, there are always large groups of doctors who regularly supply drug-addicted celebrities with drugs - for huge profits. Rarely are any of them prosecuted, even when the patient dies as a result.
Dr. Conrad Murray was a rare exception & he was only convicted because several doctors testified against him & he also committed fraud by obtaining multiple prescriptions using false patient names. Many grocery bagfuls of drugs were removed from the home. Even so, he only served 1.4 years for manslaughter. The other doctors who were just as responsible were not prosecuted.

i agree so many many items had people who should have stood up for the right thing but do not
I know they seldom get what they have coming and frankly with the excuse culture no one seems to have a conscience anymore

Sometimes I think the past two years has been some dark psychological experiment because it's too bizarre to be true.
