Creative Recycling and a New Clock

I had posted awhile ago about several hideously offensive books I acquired about dog fighting. Hideous because they were step by step guides. Everything from building a pit to teaching a pup game winning aggression. They have an old copyright but just make you physically sick to read. I had them put aside to destroy them.

But yesterday at Target I found a wooden clock making kit. Unfinished wood and you design the face. The books do have some beautiful pictures. Lots and lots of beautiful pictures. I'll post the results. A way to turn obscene books into something of beauty.

I'd burn 'em -- page by page if I had to, but I'd burn 'em.

The text is going into the fireplace. I don't want anyone else to ever get their hands on them. They don't even have historical significance. One is just a hillbilly how-to guide. The rest are based on the assumption that you can break a canine into being a fine watchdog. No you break a canine and end up creating an unstable monster.
