What ‘crime’ have you got away with?

None that I can think of. However, I am a 'curtain twitcher' and have the satisfaction of bringing justice to a few young offenders.

i ,on more than one occasion,have got a free late night train trip from the previous town to mine because the conductor chose not to come through the train.
This was in the days before ticket machines.I’m a fare dodger!

Did spend a good lot of my time in jail in my early years
After a few years of disturbing the peace of anybody I thought needed it, I figgered county jails weren't worth my time.

I'm trying to think of something but, Geez,I'm a bore! Ah! One day a friend of mine who is a sheriff here was over to my house and we were talking about lots of things. I mentioned the bank downtown and how it could be SO EASILY broken into by dismantling some pipes in the back corner. I had it all figured out and it could be robbed so quickly! He says, "You DO SEE my uniform, right? You DO KNOW you're talking to an officer of the law, describing how you would break into a bank to rob it, right?" I said, "No, I'm not going to rob it. I'm just telling you how it could be done, SO EASILY! " Good thing he was my friend so he just laughed it off.

Mattresses come with a corner tag that says "It's against the law to remove this tag." or something to that effect. It's a silly thing.
