am I the only one that doesn't know what that means ( cutting the tag off a mattress)...can someone explain... purty please..

Not sure about anymore, but used to be an official looking blurb on ever mattress tag, something like this;



Of course, many a joke cirulated

Mattresses come with a corner tag that says "It's against the law to remove this tag." or something to that effect. It's a silly thing.

Well, I did something during my marriage that I found out later was a crime:
When I found out my wife cheated on me, I wanted to discuss the situation with her & she kept denying it - which made it worse.
When I'd had enough, I told her it was bad enough to cheat on me with a married man who has 3 young kids, but as long as you keep lying about it, we can't get past it. Then, I called her a few "choice" words.

She said to me, "You make me feel so bad I just want to kill myself." (an attempt to make ME feel guilty)
I said, "Really?" I handed her a gun & said, "Go in the back yard so you don't make a mess in the house."
Oooooh, the words she called me would make a pimp cringe.

I later found out that it's actually a crime to "encourage" someone to commit suicide.
