Crispy Tofu

I once had a wonderful dish at a Chinese restaurant in which the tofu was sliced thin and fried so it was nice and crisp, then mixed in with assorted vegetables. I have yet to find anyplace that prepares the tofu like that - usually it comes in large cubes and is soft. I wanted to know if anyone here knows what I should ask for if I want it that way again.
