Cut yourself a big slide of...your Easter treat...

It used to be a big slab of moist southern-style custard-filled coconut cake or mile-high lemon meringue pie.

Today it was a cup of no sugar added to Kozy Shack tapioca pudding with a squirt of whipped cream from a can.

Looks s-o-o delicious... and what a lovely tradition.🤗

i made a pineapple upside down cake ...... by the time Hubby returned from Golf we just ate cake for dinner.

Other than the Easter Chocolates, in our house it's usually been the the fruit salad i always make on holidays and sometimes during the week or two of summer it gets hot enough to run fans.

Usually it's jellied cranberry sauce, pineapple chunks, mandarin oranges and shredded coconut. But sometimes instead of citrus fruits i use berries (strawberries, raspberries, blackberries) a bit of whipped cream and its a light but sweet finish to a heavy holiday meal.

Something I haven’t had in ages…shoo-fly-pie. A very rich pie made with molasses and crumbs on top. Had this on our visits to Lancaster, PA.
Oh! Yes...as a former Pa.ian...made in the past.
