Daisy, my dog, is 13. She‘s the only dog I’ve ever had. Several years ago, she developed arthritis and was on two medications, but still in pain. A year ago, she started getting accupuncture! What a blessing! She is pain free, as far as I can tell. About four months ago, she started knuckling. That means she folds her rear paws under when she walks. She was diagnosed with DM, degenerative myelopathy, which is a degenerative nerve condition that can’t be cured. The acupuncture was adjusted to address this and a month ago she started on an herbal supplement that has really helped, too. Thankfully, DM doesn’t cause pain. Eventually, she will just not be able to walk anymore. Every day is precious.
i also have two evil little black cats, Hope and Hannah. They’re seven, and, well, they’re cats.
