We have to keep an eye on our cats. They get interested in eating all kinds of things that can harm them.

My Buffy loved ice cream. I'd let her lick the bowl when I was finished. Max didn't like ice cream; when he was a kitten he had some, threw it up, and never wanted it again.

We had a neighbor's cat come over once in a while when we lived at the old house (this was back in the 1980s) and she's make herself right at home, sometimes staying overnight. She was a Manx cat. My mom gave her milk to drink which she would turn into the vilest smelling diarrhea you could imagine. While kittens can drink milk, almost all adult cats have lactose intolerance.
