Another movie actor I've liked over the years,Daniel Day Lewis is 61 today.
I haven't seen all of his movies,but these 2 are my favorites:
1. 'My Left Foot" '89,he plays Irish writer,Christy Brown who was born cerebral palsy
2.'The Last of the Mohicans' '92,he plays'Hawkeye',young frontiersman in 1757 who was raised by Monichan tribe,movie is based on James Fenimore Cooper's book
Lewis is the only actor I can think of who has won 3 Best Actor Oscars:
1.My Left Foot' 89
2.There Will be Blood' '07
3. Lincoln'12
He announced last year,he was retiring from acting.I guess after winning 3 Oscars and other major awards there is nothing left for him to prove.
He is married to actress,Rebecca Miller who's father was playright,Arthur Miller
