Dating and masking

Are you out and about on the in-person dating scene? Are you meeting people mainly through dating apps? Are you masking? If all of these are the case, where do you go on these dates? Anywhere that requires eating or drinking is out. Are you going for walks outside? Are you going to concerts? Are you going to museums? Are you participating in or watching sports activities? Etc.?

This thread shows up in my profile, but doesn't show up under either "new posts" or "general discussions." Maybe if I add to it, it will show up. Does anyone have any idea why the thread wouldn't be listed in its time slot? Is there a time lag? It's been three hours.

I read it earlier under New Posts. I guess I didn't comment because I wasn't sure if I am "dating" my bf since we have been in a relationship for 3 years. Not sure if when he takes me to the grocery store if that counts as a date or not.

Right below "new posts" click "show only unread" to remove that filter and see all of them.
Removing that filter permanently would be the best thing to do but I'm not sure how to do that.

Thanks, John. What was strange was that I looked for the time stamp and there was one posted just before and one posted just after; maybe I'm already seeing only unread ones.

Yup! I just checked. I think that must be the default as I never touched it.

He, he, he! I might not know it all but I figure that going to a grocery store isn't much of a date, It's a sort of a "job" that needs to be done. Mind you, if you are holding hands as you walk to the grocery store and he sneaks little love kisses between the paper isle and the meat section, you might be in for a pretty "hot" night.

No, katlupe, a trip to the grocery store is Not a date, unless of course, your 'date' happens to be Stephen King lol. Don...
Usually it is an all day affair and ending with a meal at the Chinese restaurant or bringing takeout to my apartment.

I WISH shopping was that much fun for us, but I am pushing a walker and he uses the cart or scooter (depending on his health that day) and I really need his help getting my groceries so we do it together.

I just have not felt like going to things like we used to and he wants me to go because he still does these things but usually meeting friends. We go to races, car shows, local parks and long drives (we still do that), he cooks a meal for me at his house or to the movie theater down the street from me. I just do not like to go out in the evening to eat or other things people usually do. It is not his fault but mine. Like I said, we are in a relationship though, not getting to know each other by dating. Just don't live together.

I was actually making a joke about the grocery shopping being our date.
