This is what I made and brought to a church fellowship meal.
In a large bowl combine any proportion of these ingredients to taste. You can add to, omit any or substitute for any of them as long as it comes to 6 cups:
Toasted oat cereal (like Cheerios in the U.S.)
Museli cereal
a multi-grain cereal
dried cranberries
dried currants
chocolate chips
butterscotch chips
peanuts
In a Dutch oven, heat 4 Tbsps. of butter on low heat until it melts. Add a 10 oz. (or close) of white mini marshmallows and stir constantly until they are also meted and well combined with the butter. Remove from heat. Add cereal mixture and stir until well mixed. Press into a 9 x 13 inch baking dish that has been well coated with non-stick spray. Cool and cut into squares.
