What are your thoughts on this, good idea or bad? Do you think it will work the way they planned or somehow this is 'messing' with mother nature and may have some bad side effects?

Using natural means to battle a greater insect threat is preferable to dumping untold quantities of insecticide all over the place.

Good video. I think having non biting male mosquitos to breed with and eliminate the disease carrying mosquitos could be a workable idea. Nature has a balance. I'd take a wait and see and hope for the best view, but I think it's a go. Question: are these non biting bugs natural or man made in the lab?

IMO everything is here for a reason and I get nervous when people decide what should and should not exist.

I would rather see a plan that would allow us to coexist.

Question: are these non biting bugs natural or man made in the lab?

They supposedly are males, who are naturally non-biting, but they are artificially bred in a laboratory with a certain bacteria in them, that "is said" not to be harmful to humans. So I'd say they were not natural, and made in a lab.
