Today is December 7th. In the USA it's a day to remember. No, it 's not the Dec.7, 1941 of WWII "infamy"; it's today. The time to change Medicare Advantage plans are over for 2020. YEAH!!!!!!! Finally , we can get rid of those insipid dolts, dancing in ecstasy because they picked a certain plan. Really, when was the last time you took out an insurance policy, and danced around the room, in sheer joy. Geesh! Now, there won't be 1,465 Medicare supplement ads per day on TV.
One thing that really does irritate me about the supplement ads is that It sounds as if there were government "benefits" that you could not get, unless an insurance company somehow finagled it. The truth is those so called "benefits' are provisions in their insurance policies, and have nothing to do with the government. "You want " no deductibles", well, you pay us extra and you won't have any."
Thank God, Medicare enrollment is over for this year.
