I woke up in such a good mood today! Yay, gonna be a great day! Then I went to rinse my mug out. Uh... turn faucet on, turn faucet off... only the hot water didn't stop and kept pouring out full force. Dang, it's gonna turn into a 'y day.

Anyhow, hope you're all having a better day! Weekend's coming... see, I *can* find a glimmer of good hidden in a situation!

The turn-off valve is behind a panel in the stairway... and of course that turns off ALL the water, so kind of scary to say the least.

thank the lord you knew where it was... I think mine is under the kitchen sink, I'll have to check.. because since the o/h's been gone, I need to know all that stuff...

Almost... one of the parts inside cracked and fortunately is an easy fix after buying the part.

Same thing happened to us when our son was down visiting from Pennsylvania in January. The bathtub faucet would not turn off and it was stuck on hot. Needless to say I was in a panic. We had to cut the water off from the outside. It was very scary but, the good news was the plumber fixed it very easily with a valve inside the faucet.

Glad you are getting it fixed.

Yes, ME! Last month! Turned the faucet on and it sprayed all over me and the kitchen! I laughed so hard! SOAKING WET!
I had to replace the faucet. and while I was at it, installed turn off valves under the sink, so if it happens again . . . .

Just stuff you have to fix and put behind you.

Ah, Sometimes you have to look at things differently, (from another perspective)
