Anyone else reminded of the Puffer Toadfish? Same defenceless poor things puffing themselves up to look scary, even very similar markings and head shape. All Freddo needs is a few soft spikes and a tail fin. Nature isn't ashamed to use a good evolutionary pattern across species.
Found this short footage of it puffing up, it must terrify a marauding moth.
