As we sent our sons and daughters to Iraq and Afghanistan we were told... "better to fight them there than here"! That worked well, didn't it? Shouldering the burden of removing Islamic terrorist from the face of this Earth is not worth one more American life!!!! But, as long as a segment of our society will pick apart every word and sentence uttered by this President, fault will be found.

Personally, a draft might stop some of the war mongers from being so quick to send others' sons and daughters to be killed. Of course.. all the sleazy rich politicians would be able to keep THEIR kids out of it.

It might stop them from being so quick to start more wars, but I agree, like you say, they will buy their way out of it if it comes to their own children and grandchildren dying in the middle east for no good reason. As they say, fighting George W's Frankenstein.

Sending our kids over there to get killed will not stop them... our time and our money needs to be put into intelligence and into stopping them from committing atrocities right on our own soil.
