Did you ever open a can of fruit....

It's many, many years since I ate canned fruit... but the last time I did open a can it was all full to the top.... that said as a food prepper..I have canned fruit in the store for emrgencies .. I might open a can of oranges to see if they've reduced the amount ..just for my own satisfaction..lol... because in truth everything else has been severly cut back... and prices risen for the same

No that hasnt happened t o me - if it did, I would write a letter to the company and they would probably refund/ offer free samples.

some sort of machine error on the assembly line I would think.

My aunt once opened a can of green beans and found it full of motor oil. Mechanic must have set it on the conveyor belt and off it went when he went back to turn the machine back on. Oops.

Someone didn't load the fruit in time or it got blocked up in the hopper in your case. Call the number on the can and they'll send you a coupon.

Another disappointment....strawberry jelly...consistency of maple syrup. Ran all over my toast. The brand is Blackburn's. I thought it was because being a new bottle, it was at room temperature and putting it in the fridge would help make it more thick. WRONG!

I noticed the issue with canned yams and peaches. For a while there were way less in the can than there used to be. I haven purchased any recently.
